Our baby girl is 11 months old! She is starting to seem less like a baby and more of a toddler. She is so adorable and fun.
Size: Not sure on the weight/height. I would guess she is still around 21 lbs. She wears around size 12 or 12-18 month clothes, size 3 shoe, and a size 3 diaper.
Likes: Her doll, pulling up on everything, opening and closing doors and cabinets, pulling on cords, holding our hands and "walking", dogs, watching videos of herself, brushing her teeth, and going to the park.
Dislikes: Me leaving the room for more than a minute, having her sippy cup on her tray (must throw it on the floor after taking a sip), not being able to open a cabinet or door, etc.
Working On: Learning the word no. Currently she smiles and laughs at me when I sternly tell her no. She will take a few steps while holding on to the couch and will take steps while we hold her arms. Still working on getting her to sign "more" and "all done".
Eating: For breakfast she eats baby oatmeal mixed with 3 cubes of puréed fruit and half of a banana mashed up. For lunch she usually eats grapes (cut up) and a sandwich (wheat pita bread, lunch meat, and melted cheese torn in pieces). For dinner she usually has fruit/veggie purée, yogurt, and other random things. We sometimes try to give her what we are eating but she usually doesn't like it too much. Her favorite foods right now are cheese, yogurt, and sandwiches. She also nurses 4 times a day.
Sleeping: She has been going to sleep around 7pm. She has been waking up around 5am to nurse and will go back down until 6 or 7. She takes 2 naps that range from 30 min to 2 hours. Usually the sum of both nap times is no more than 2 hours though.
Other milestones...
Still 6 teeth (4 top, 2 bottom), she can clap (seems like she has been doing this a while, although I'm not sure I ever documented it), wave, hi-five, point, sign "milk", say dada and mama (said mama at 10 1/2 months), and can cruise some. She had been shaking her head "no" a few weeks ago but hasn't done it lately. She definitely expresses frustration. When she can't open something or reach something (remote control, cord, etc), she will let out a frustrated yell. She just got over having a cold - she had fever and runny nose for several days.
That is all I can think of now. She is growing up and it makes me a little sad but at the same time each new stage is so much fun and brings out more of her personality so I really have nothing to be sad about. I can hardly take my eyes off her as she is very curious and in to everything. I love this girl so so much!
