Monthly Photos: Month 6

Our sweet baby is 6 months old! We are enjoying her so much. She brings such joy and fun to our home. I love when she gets super silly and smiley. It usually happens in the evening (when Daddy is home). She will do these huge open mouth smiles and giggle and will make such silly noises. I think I always say this but, what a fun age!

Size: We go to the doctor in a couple weeks so I'll know height and weight then. She wears mostly 9 month or even some 12 month clothes.

Likes: Sleeping on her tummy, playing on her tummy (as soon as I lay her down she rolls over) putting everything in her mouth, running errands in the Bjorn, baths.

Dislikes: Bottles, doing the same thing for too long, getting dressed after a bath.

Working on: Sitting up - she can sit up on her own for a few seconds at a time and is improving everyday so I know soon she will have it down. Using the Maya wrap - she does pretty good in the hip carry position.

Eating: She still takes about 7-8 feedings a day including one during the middle of the night.

Sleeping: Although she has slept through the night a handful of times, she still usually wakes up once to eat. She goes down between 7 and 7:30 and wakes up around 6:30. She takes about 3 naps a day. Usually one of the 3 is longish (1-1.5 hours) and then other 2 are usually short (30 min). Sometimes she will do a 2 hour nap. Can't remember the last time she did a 3 hour nap.

She still isn't on a schedule. She wakes up at a different time every day, then gets tired and hungry at different times every day. I am ok with that though and she seems to be too. It is kinda nice that she is laid back and flexible so that when we do have busy days she is ok napping in the car, eating on the go, etc.

Love my little girl! Happy Half Birthday Cambry! And, today also happens to be Greg's birthday. Happy Birthday Love! You are the best Husband and Daddy!

She is getting so big!! I remember when you did not even have a baby bump at work (and you were 12 plus weeks preggo!)
